Day 24: K-9 Lassie tracks down the suspect and leads them to another warehouse. They discover the mastermind cleverly disguised as Santa plus smelting equipment for gold. Further DNA testing shows that he was the father of all three of the criminals - triplet boys! They had been stealing gold and melting it down to sell as gold ingots. And just like that, the case is solved!! Good thing too since it's Christmas tomorrow!

Day 24a: Back at Maura's house some crafty person has hung mistletoe (Angela? Tommy? Frankie?) and as our heroes find themselves standing underneath it, they finally share a tentative yet intense first kiss! Merry Christmas to all. :)

Day 23..

 Day 23: Clutching at straws the team decides to try the K-9 unit and gives Lassie the watchman's cap of a deceased suspect. Officer Cesar Milan brings milk bones!

Day 23a: Meanwhile, the remaining suspect is hiding in the bushes with his trusty revolver...
Will the BPD find him? What will happen next? Can we wrap up this case in the one remaining day left? Stay tuned for the big Christmas Eve thrilling conclusion...

Day 22..

 Day 22: Maura enjoys the sleigh ride so much, she buys her own. Of course Jane challenges her to a race...

 Day 22a: Jane edges ahead...

 Day 22b: ...but Maura "Jimmie Johnson" Isles cuts her off at the bend...

 Day 22c: Maura wins and to the winner, the spoils. Jane gives her friend a great, big seemingly never-ending...kiss hug.

Day 22d: A friendly snowball fight breaks out after the hug... (The case is still stalled in case you were following along with the plot - what plot?)

Day 21..

Day 21: Winter Solstice! To celebrate, Jane takes Maura on a romantic fun sleigh ride. The case has gone cold for now..

Day 20..

 Day 20: Jane helps Maura with her "jab"...it's what platonic friends do of a morning after they've woken up from their sleepover wherein they snuggled all night long...

Day 20a: Frankie gets to test out the BPD new snowmobile - it's a stylish and easily seen orange colour. He makes sure to be safe with the correct head canon..i mean head gear!

Day 20b: Meanwhile, back to the case at hand - Maura has discovered that the 2 dead criminals are related - in fact have enough alleles in common to be twins! No wonder red crowbar was trying to steal the DNA evidence!

Day 19..

 Day 19: "Rizzoli" "Isles" our girls are, umm, rudely "awoken" by another crime scene call...

Day 19a: Criminal #3 is dead! His trusty red crowbar couldn't save him..but why was he breaking into the safe? Was there more than just gold ingots inside? Who killed him?

Day 18..

 Day 18: Another creepy criminal (this one has chest hair, eww and if you're keeping count, the criminal count is up to THREE) breaks into Maura's lab to steal DNA evidence... The accessory du jour is a stylin' red crowbar...

Day 18a: After entirely too much fun singing karaoke, Jane sleeps over at Maura's house..and like all platonic friends, they end up spooning...awww!

Day 17..

 Day 17: Frankie takes the new BPD squad car for a spin. Tricked out baby!

Day 17a: After a hard week, Jane and Maura relax at the Robber with a few drinks and karaoke. The first few notes of the Elton John/Kiki Dee classic "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" bring bashful smiles to our girls faces..

Day 16..

Day 16: Giovanni heads to BPD to assist with the wrecked car - it's an Alfa Romeo. Some TGTGT happens as Jane and Maura play their "LLBFFs" act...

Day 15..

Day 15: Patrolmen are called to investigate an overturned and abandoned vehicle.  When Jane hears it has grenades strewn around, she quickly puts 2 and 2 together.  She, Frankie and CSI Abby head to the scene where they discover a reddish brown stain inside the car...

Day 14..

 Day 14: Maura is working on her microscope, lost in a daydream about the "i hate you" moment when Jane walks in with coffee...

Day 14a: Maura knows that Jane knows what she was thinking about...an intense look follows...

Day 13..

Day 13: The BPD is out (!?) and about canvassing the good folks of Boston for information on the warehouse bomber...Jane is doing that gumshoe thing Maura loves SO much...

Day 12..

Day 12: Maura gets the tox results back and the perp had ergot in his bloodstream. This means that he's either a Salem witch (no, wait, we did that episode already!) or he's a fan of Timothy Leary (google it, go on you know you want to!). In any event Maura extrapolates that this man cannot possibly a member of her daddy's gang. I know. It's the b/s moment y'all. Jane tells Maura she kind of loves that she knows that...

Day 11..

Day 11: Maura calls Jane down to the morgue. During the autopsy she discovered an unknown toxin and is waiting on test results...there may or may not be ensuing flirting and eyesex over the dead body...

Day 10..

 Day 10: our bomber hides out in the countryside and fishes for dinner while his campfire keeps him warm...

...meanwhile, Jane Rizzoli holds a press conference and hands out police artist renderings of the suspect...

Day 9: Jane and Maura talk to a local firewood businessman (wearing his trendy green parka and safety glasses) who says he saw someone creeping around the warehouse before it exploded..

Day 8..

Day 8: Jane gets called to a bombing scene - looks like the grenade launcher was used to blow open a warehouse. Jane, Frankie and CSI tech Abby wait for the fire dept to extinguish the fire. Meanwhile another suspicious looking character sits on a bench with a walkie-talkie. how is he involved?

Day 7..

Day 7: Jane and Maura decide to share early Christmas gifts with each other. Joe Friday gets a doggie skateboard and helmet! Wheeeeee!

Day 6..

Day 6: after the scare at the police station, Jane and Maura relax snuggle at home and put up the Christmas tree and their stockings. Joe Friday stands guard as our gals have a few drinks and watch TV...

Day 5..

Day 5: Jane Rizzoli is forced to shoot the suspect as he somehow manages to get a shiv and tries to attack Dr. Maura Isles!  No way is Jane going to let anyone harm her LLBFF...

Day 4..

Day 4: Detective Rizzoli gets his man and puts him behind bars, much to his sister Jane's approval. Rizzolis #ftw! Is this the end of the gunpowder plot? Stay tuned....

Day 3..

Day 3: meanwhile, somewhere else in the city newly minted Detective Rizzoli is working on a lead from a CI regarding a gunpowder plot that may involve Paddy Doyle. He has 2 pairs of handcuffs because big sister Jane said to always be prepared...

Day 2..

Day 2: The longshoreman (who is a long-lost relative of Guy Fawkes) builds a grenade launcher - the honey pot was really TNT!! He grins wickedly and laughs his evil laugh...bwaaaahahahaha!

Day 1: a suspicious looking longshoreman ships up to Boston with his white honey pot. he immediately heads for the Christmas presents and smirks menacingly at them...
